SASEC is promoting 4.3 MW mini-hydropower projects (MHP) and 0.5MW Solar/Solar-Wind Hybrid Minigrids (SMG) to increase access to electricity in rural areas for improving the livelihoods of people by promoting economic activities. One of the activities under Output 1 includes budget for MHP line extention in catchment area of Mini Hydro Projects under SASEC/ADB to extent the transmission line to the unelectrified household. This activity is planned for extention of distribution line (11 kV) for T-connection of Saniveri MHP, Rukum East with NEA line.
