The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites you to submit a proposal in English to provide, within a five-month period, validated biophysical national forest inventory data and conduct household socioeconomic surveys across five distinct lots. Lot 1 Acklins, with 7 sampling units (SU) biophysical national forest inventory data. Lot 2 Abaco, with 19 SU biophysical national forest inventory data. Lot 3 North Andros, with 31 SU biophysical national forest inventory data. Lot 4 South Andros, with 22 SU biophysical national forest inventory data. Lot 5 Data collection of 135 completed and quality-checked household socioeconomic surveys on mangrove use across Andros, Abaco, Acklins, and New Providence. The data will inform national forest carbon stock estimation and sustainable forest and mangrove management policies in The Bahamas.
