TheThe United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for Terminal evaluation of "Catalysing ecosystem restoration for climate resilient natural capital and rural livelihoods in degraded forests and rangelands of Nepal". The requirement is for terminal evaluation of the climate change adaptation project in Nepal, implementation from 25 May 2018 to 30 april 2025, budget of USD 5,246,475, nationally executed by Ministry of Forest and Environment (MoFE). The main objective of the project is to increase the capacity of national and local government institutions in Nepal to adapt to climate change by implementing EbA in degraded forests and rangelands in mid-hill and high-mountain areas. Some of the expected outputs are: 1. An Inception report setting out the methodology and work plan. 2. Preliminary Findings Note: typically in the form of a PowerPoint presentation 3. Draft and Final Review Report: containing an Executive Summary that can act as a stand-alone document The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed.
