Expression of Interest “Request for the submission of Application for Prequalification for the Provision of Construction Contractor Services” The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Sudan country office is intending to implement multiple construction and rehabilitation projects. Most of the construction and extension of UNICEF’s activities engaged in are in Sudan states. To ensure efficient implementation of all UNICEF projects with line of engineering and UNICEF standard. UNICEF is planning to contract the services of reputable National Construction Contracting Firms to perform the construction, rehabilitation, extension and maintenance works on behalf of UNICEF. National Construction Contracting Firms duly registered in Sudan are invited to apply. The expected services from the construction contracting firms included but not limited to, Construction of new buildings. Rehabilitation of Existing damaged buildings in various scales. Building extensions (horizontal and vertical) Fit-Out construction, functional space upgrade Projects. Conduct required maintenance for operational buildings. The types of activities or constructions include but are not limited to educational facilities, health centres, child friendly spaces, cold chains, warehouses and storages, guesthouse latrine units, administrative buildings, plus fabrication works like steel staircases and common steel sheds for different functions. The interested construction contracting firms are requested to submit Application for Prequalification (AFP) in sealed envelope as per AFP requirements. The applications of construction contracting firms will be strictly evaluated according to the AFP document. AFP document copy is available via UNGM. UNICEF payment terms are after delivery. UNICEF prefers to collaborate with those who have previous working experience in the subject matter. Upon receipt and review of the documents, UNICEF officials shall only visit the premises of the suppliers who have submitted complete documentation and who meet UNICEF criteria before considering them as services providers.
