The Layout artist will work closely with the ILO CO-Manila to design visually compelling, audience-appropriate, and engaging materials for the roll-out of the Training Manual on Freedom of Association and Labour Rights in the Philippines. The consultant will ensure that all materials enhance the conveyance of textual content while being accessible to diverse target audiences. The general categories of items/services are: Transforming text-based training materials into visually engaging designs such as PowerPoint decks Prepare social media cards or infographics, and backdrop for the training Designing and formatting the contents of the training material, including the development of characters, digital artwork, and infographics, ensuring readability, usability, and visual impact of the training PowerPoint decks Ensuring strict adherence to ILO’s brand guidelines, which outline the design standards for all ILO-produced materials. The consultant must carefully review and follow these guidelines before creating any designs. The final contents and design of the materials shall be in accordance with the ILO design guidelines and rules spelled-out in ILO House Style 6th Edition. Incorporating visibility requirements of the project’s development partner, ensuring compliance with donor branding and acknowledgment protocols. Incorporating feedback from key reviewers throughout the design process to ensure high-quality, impactful outputs. The consultant is expected to apply a creative and professional approach, ensuring that the materials are not only visually appealing but also clear, accessible, and aligned with the training objectives.
