The third edition of the GOSR aims to further strengthen its role as an essential resource for policymakers, academics, and stakeholders. It will continue to serve as a key reference for tracking progress toward sustainable development, particularly in achieving SDG Target 14.a, which addresses scientific knowledge, research capacity development, and marine technology transfer. Immediate objective: As part of the data inputs into the third GOSR, the IOC is seeking a contractor to undertake a bibliometric analysis aimed at providing quantitative data and associated data summary products (tables, figures) on scientific outputs related to the field of ocean science produced across the period 2010-2024, and specifically in relation to the following thematic areas, as set out in previous editions of the GOSR:.
