[email protected] Objective of the consultancy: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify a qualified external consultancy/specialized firm to develop a landscape report on barriers and opportunities for optimized malaria case management in the private sector. Qualification of Firm and Consultants: Unitaid seeks services of external experts/specialized firm (4-6 personnel) with the following skills and technical qualifications and experience (in both firm and the proposed team members). The proposed team working on the project should have following experience (one team member may possess more than one of the listed requirements): 1. Advanced level university degree in public health or the equivalent; 2. Minimum of 10 years’ work experience in global public health; 3. Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in malaria control in a malaria endemic setting; 4. Minimum of 8 years’ experience working on improving access to quality care, including malaria case-management, in the private sector in low- and middle -countries; 5. Minimum of 6 years’ experience in country-based Product and Supply Management – including experience focusing on malaria commodities; 6. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in conducting landscaping work and developing technical reports, and other communication materials for a range of audiences and for public dissemination; 7. Able to demonstrate existing relationships within key stakeholders relevant to these Terms of Reference i.e. through existing or past projects; 8. Able to demonstrate linguistic diversity of team to enable effective data gathering in linguistically diverse settings of interest.
