UNDP Viet Nam is looking for 01 qualified consultancy firm/institute/organization to conduct a study on women’s participation in public governance of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.Viet Nam has embraced science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as critical drivers of economic growth and national development. Policies such as the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with Orientation to 2030 and the Science, Technology, and Innovation Strategy for 2021-2030 emphasize the need to enhance technological capacity and build a skilled workforce. Most recently, Resolution 57-NQ/TW (2024) reaffirmed the government’s commitment to accelerating breakthroughs in these fields, underscoring the importance of developing human resources to sustain progress.UNDP is commissioning a study on women’s participation in the public governance of STIDT at the national and provincial levels. This study will assess the current status of women’s participation, identify key barriers and enabling factors, and provide evidence-based policy recommendations to enhance women’s engagement in leadership and decision-making roles. While the social sciences and humanities are not the focus of this particular assignment, they continue to be explored through other research streams and policy dialogues supported by UNDP and its partners. By supporting gender equality in these critical fields, the study aims to contribute to Viet Nam’s broader development goals and foster a more inclusive, innovative, and equitable future. The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance opportunities for women to participate in and shape government decision - and policymaking on STIDT.When preparing your offer, please be guided by the RFP Instructions and Data.
