The ultimate objective of this consultancy is that participants will achieve the following learning outcomes at the end of each training application : Understand and apply gender concepts to the design and administration of national social protection systems, with a specific focus on their social assistance component. Identify the most common risks faced by women and girls, with a focus on specific life-cycle transitions and the exposure to multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination ( e.g. in relation to disability). Design and implement social protection programmes that can reduce and address the gender specific risks and vulnerabilities faced by women and girls in the region, aiming to shift gender norms to promote structural gender transformative change. Learn how to monitor and evaluate the gender impact of social protection programmes and policies.
