Ship to Shore Rights in South-East Asia : Safe migration for decent work in the blue economy (S2SR) is a regional initiative of the European Union and the United Nations. It is implemented by the ILO in collaboration with IOM and FAO, with the overall objective to promote safe migration and decent work for a sustainable fish and seafood supply chain in South-East Asia, from primary production (capture fishing and aquaculture) to post-harvest processing. During phase 3, the S2SR programme has expanded its geographic scope to include Malaysia, reflecting its growing importance within South-East Asia’s blue economy. This call for proposals invites qualified consultants to submit bids for a scoping study on decent work for migrants in the fishing, seafood processing and aquaculture sectors to inform the S2SR programme strategy in Malaysia.
