Background From 28 to 30 October 2025, the Prevention of Noncommunicable Diseases (PND) unit in WHO/WPRO will convene the “Regional Workshop on Translating Data into Policy Action for NCD Prevention” in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The workshop will strengthen data-to-action frameworks for NCD prevention, building on regional lessons and addressing persistent challenges. It will focus on interpreting and applying diverse data sources to assess policy alignment, identify gaps, and support the development of targeted, evidence-informed action plans to advance strategic goals outlined in key regional NCD initiatives and vision papers. The objectives of the workshop are: (1)        to review existing data to assess alignment with NCD prevention priorities and current interventions and to identify data and policy gaps; (2)        to strengthen capacity to interpret and apply diverse data sources for policy and programme development; and (3)        to develop country-specific action plans to strengthen data generation and utilization for NCD prevention. The contractual partner is expected to support WHO/WPRO in the conduct of the workshop by providing assistance to participants, particularly their travel to and from Seoul, and the actual conduct of workshop.
