The United Nations Interim Security Forces for Abyei (UNISFA) seeks suitable suppliers for Access Control System, devices and Support Services. The system is being used by UNISFA Security Section for controlling access in and out of UNISFA Head Quarters (HQ) in Sudan. The system comprises of a Server, client system, handheld scanning devices, Kiosk readers (static devices) and OMI key readers that requires technical support, maintenance, and replacements from time to time. The Mission seeks to establish a contract with a vendor for an initial period of one (1) year with the option for a further four (4) years – in one-year periods (+1 year + 1 year + 1 year + 1 year), which is subject to availability of funds, extension of UNISFA’s mandate and satisfactory performance of the vendor. Service providers should have the capacity to provide UNISFA with the following Items and services. a). An initial one (1) year license for Server Software. b). An initial one (1) year license for client Software. c). RFID Handheld readers. d). OMNIKEY readers. e). Kiosk Readers. f). Remote Technical support. The system should record, and view entry/exist to authenticate personnel and visitors to UNISFA Headquarter (Abyei) through scanning UN RFID ID cards by handheld and static device scanners at entry and exit points. Detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) with the technical specifications,quantities required will be shared in the solicitation document which will be sent out to all qualified companies/vendors shortlisted for receipt of official UNPD/GPSS solicitation. To be awarded a contract ,a vendor must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the UNGM.
