The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. The World Food Programme (WFP) intends to procure locally produced rice, beans, and iodised salt and invites eligible local suppliers to register interest in the supply of these commodities.
