1. The United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) will shortly be issuing a solicitation for supply and delivery of Long Range Surveillance System for UNDOF on the basis of delivery terms DAT Beirut Airport, Lebanon. 2. The interested vendors must be an international registered company with authorization and capacity to sell required items with its related spare parts and services to customers in Syria. 3. The winning vendor must provide UNDOF with a reliable situational awareness enhancement through the area of separation (AOS). The users of the system will be the United Nations' blue helmet forces deployed in UNDOF. The solution must include all the components, ancillaries, spare parts, and essential items required for immediate use and be designed to allow subsequent upgrade, repair, and scalability for extending through UNDOF AOS. 4. The required Surveillance System should have minimum detection range for vehicles: 10 km during day and 5 km during night operations and for personnel: 6 km during day and 2 km during night operations. 5. The proposed system and equipment must not be manufactured or assembled in Israel, in total, or its components. 6. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNDOF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to an EOI does not automatically guarantee that such company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only those prospective companies that are deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission will receive the final Solicitation Documents. 7. INTERESTED VENDORS SHOULD NOTE THAT THE MINIMUM LEVEL FOR REGISTRATION FOR THIS TENDER IN UNGM (www.ungm.org) IS LEVEL1, COMPANIES WHICH ARE NOT FULLY REGISTERED IN UNGM MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE UPCOMING TENDER.
