UNDP Mongolia Country Office is looking for a national legal entity who will perform the following assignment. Project: “Advancing carbon market readiness in Mongolia’’ ProjectDuration: 6 monthsScope of work:The objective of this assignment is to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study and provide design options for the establishment of a digital National Carbon Registry System and define the institutional, operational, and technical blueprint for Mongolia’s National Carbon Registry System. The study will ensure that the proposed system is technically interoperable with both national systems and international registry system. Furthermore, the system should be designed to register national inventory, carbon credits projects under Article 6, carbon credits traded in voluntary carbon markets, while upholding environmental integrity and incorporating safeguards to prevent risks such as double counting. The contractor should ensure smooth partnership with related national stakeholders and international organizations, including IFIs to identify and align the efforts in this sector.Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.
