Country: UkraineDescription of the Assignment: Expert to amend secondary legislation on building’s thermal modernizationType of position: NationalDuty Station: Ukraine, home-basedPeriod of assignment/services (if applicable): 12 December 2024Main objectives of the assignment: The primary objective of this assignment is to conduct a comprehensive gap analysis of existing regulations and create secondary legislation and an Album of Technical Solutions as a recommended annex to the Order from the Ministry of Regional Development on "Approval of Requirements for Near Zero Energy Consumption Buildings (NZEBs)", which aligns with common practices in the EU and CA EPBD.The expert will support UNDP and the Ukrainian Government in bringing construction’s energy efficiency regulations up to European standards. This includes identifying and prioritizing needs, facilitating communication with stakeholders, and proposing detailed solutions for the draft order.
