Section 1: BACKGROUND The Procurement Division is seeking information from service providers offering Business Information Services to support vendor due diligence, risk management, and procurement integrity. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to gather insights into the capabilities and scope of business information services available in the market. Section 2: SUMMARY The RFI is intended to obtain the following information: 1. Global Coverage: A comprehensive understanding of how vendors cover various regions, particularly those with limited business data availability. 2. Business Information Resources: Understanding of key business intelligence sources and their reliability in the market. 3. Report Types and Service Levels: Understanding the range of business information services available, including basic company profiles, financial reports, legal proceedings, and reputational assessments, along with different levels of detail (Basic, Standard, Full, Premium). 4. Market Pricing Models: An insight of pricing structures such as subscription-based, pay-per-use, or credit-based models. 5. Service Level Agreements (SLAs): A clearer understanding of industry standards for SLAs to establish fair and realistic expectations. Section 3: BREAKDOWN 1) Global Coverage a) Structure of vendor’s coverage by region. b) List of covered countries/regions. c) Availability of business information in data-limited regions. 2) Business Information Resources a) Primary sources of business information (e.g., government registries, financial disclosures, regulatory databases). b) Methodology for data, verification, and validation. c) Frequency of data updates and mechanisms to ensure reliability. 3) Report Types and Service Levels a) Categories of business information report levels (Basic, Standard, Full, Premium). b) Overview of information provided in each report type (e.g., financial statements, ownership details, risk assessments, reputational checks). 4) Market Pricing Models a) Available pricing structures (e.g., subscription, pay-per-use, credit-based models). b) Available pricing schedules for business information report levels (Basic, Standard, Full, Premium). c) Flexibility in pricing based on usage 5) Service Level Agreements (SLAs) a) Benchmarks for SLAs in business information services. b) Standards on data accuracy, update frequency, and issue resolution. c) Standards on support services.
