Call for External Collaborators: Conducting Value Chain Mapping in hazelnuts

ProcureProcess - ILO Others Non Governmental 2025-12-16 to 2025-12-28
Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The ILO Office for Türkiye will undertake a study on value chain mapping to better understand the child labour risk (including human rights risks) within the hazelnut sector. The study will assist relevant companies to identify and prioritize child labour impacts that are linked or may be linked to its production cycle and help to develop appropriate prevention and mitigation measures. 1. Identify and map all relevant actors in the hazelnut value chain, from production to export. 2. Highlight critical stages and geographic areas where child labour risks are most prevalent. 3. Analyse socio-economic drivers and governance structures that sustain or mitigate child labour and the implications they may have on exacerbating human rights risks in the operations of the value chain. 4. Provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation, due diligence, and sustainable solutions across different tiers of the hazelnut supply chain to better address decent work deficits. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
