The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The ILO seeks a national consultant to support an action-oriented assessment of the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Greater Cairo, focusing on young Egyptians and refugees (male and female) seeking to start or sustain businesses. The consultant will work with the ILO research team to apply the Inclusive Entrepreneurship Ecosystems methodology, conducting a desk review, socio-economic profiling, and preliminary ecosystem mapping. Based on this, the consultant will help prioritize 2–3 ecosystem pillars for deeper analysis, organize and accompany fieldwork, and provide inputs on underlying constraints, opportunities, and partnership models. The assignment also includes contributing to the drafting and review of the research report, supporting capacity building and engagement of implementing partes, contribute to the design of actionable interventions, profiling potential ecosystem partners, and assisting with a validation workshop. Deliverables will include draft in-depth analysis report, PowerPoint presentations, workshop facilitation, inputs to the design of interventions, and drafting annexes of partner profiles.
