The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Zambia seeks qualified suppliers to provide Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (EmONC) equipment and supplies for selected health facilities implementing the Midwifery Model of Care (MMoC) initiative.Zambia is among the countries implementing the MMoC approach, with three health facilities designated as Centres of Excellence: Nalweyi Health Facility in Western Province, Ngombe Health Centre in Lusaka Province, and New Masala Health Centre in Ndola, Copperbelt Province.The procurement aims to equip these facilities with the necessary EmONC equipment and supplies to strengthen the quality of maternal and newborn healthcare services.There are 22 items in total listed in the procurement in additional there is transportation of the equipment to the three named health centers.UNFPA is using Quantum, an ERP platform based Oracle Cloud, which supports the United Nations procurement processes.
