The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for provision of Science Editing services for publications and their derivative products for UNEP. Some of the expected outputs are: 1. Editing Services • Substantive Editing: Planning and refining the structure, clarity, and flow of documents from the concept stage through to the final draft. • Copy Editing: Ensuring grammatical accuracy, consistency, and readability, following UNEP guidelines. • Proofreading: Reviewing final designs to verify accuracy in layout, references, pagination, and content alignment. The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI (REOI) is closed. The contract resulting from the consecutive solicitation exercise, which will be launched following closure of this REOI, is anticipated to be awarded for 5 years (initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for additional 2 years). All interested companies must respond to the questions listed in the following section. EOIs submitted without responding to the questions below may not be considered.
