Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: This assignment aims to inform S4E–KP project interventions in eco-tourism through a gender and inclusion focused market assessment . Key objectives include: Mapping eco-tourism potential and related value chains in flood-affected districts of KP, with a focus on identifying opportunities for women and youth entrepreneurship development in flood-affected districts. Identify specific barriers that limit women, youth, and marginalized groups from engaging in eco-tourism value chains (e.g. lack of skills, access to finance, mobility restrictions, or discriminatory norms); and assess opportunities such as niche markets or community-based tourism models that can support their active participation. Recommend practical, inclusive, and scalable interventions aligned with project goals, including an assessment of the feasibility and contextual relevance of ILO enterprise development tools such as GET Ahead, SIYB, and KAB. Suggest culturally appropriated methods of awareness raising in KP consistent with the ILOs guidelines on decent work and socially responsible tourism: https://www.ilo.org/resource/other/ilo-guidelines-decent-work-and-socially-responsible-tourism Please note that if travel is required for this assignment, the necessary travel costs will be covered by the ILO.
