The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Lao PDR invites eligible companies to express their interest in participating in an upcoming bidding exercise for the supply and delivery of fertilizers to Houaphanh and Phongsaly provinces in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.   The scope of work will include the supply and delivery of fertilizers to project villages located in Xone, Xamneua, Xamtai, and Kuan districts in Houaphanh Province, and Khoua and Samphanh districts in Phongsaly Province.   The required fertilizers shall be packed in accordance with commercial standards and shall have a minimum shelf life valid until at least 31 December 2027. Detailed technical specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements will be provided in the solicitation documents issued to all invited bidders. The applicable evaluation criteria will also be shared as part of the solicitation package.   Vendors are advised that this EOI does not constitute a solicitation. Its sole purpose is to identify companies that may be interested in, and eligible to participate in, the solicitation once it is formally issued.   UNODC reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel its requirements at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.   Companies wishing to participate in the upcoming tender are requested to submit their EOI by email to [email protected]; [email protected].   The EOI must include, at a minimum, the following documentation/information:  1. Company’s contact details: Company name, UNGM Number, address, telephone, fax numbers, contact person and email. 2. Copy of valid business registration, certificate of incorporation or other document issued by the pertinent authorities. 3. Relevant experience in supplying fertilizers or related products to UN or international agencies   Failure to provide these information will result to a rejection.     In addition, suppliers must be duly registered as vendors of the United Nations Secretariat on the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) at Basic level or above in order to be eligible to participate in the upcoming tender.
