BackgroundThe Promotion and Application of Sustainable Biomass Energy Technologies (PASBET) project is establishing five biomass demonstration plants across five pilot districts: Sujawal and Badin (Sindh), Layyah (Punjab), Sohbatpur (Balochistan) and Mansehra (KP). Alongside the demonstration plants, the project will conduct on-site training and community demonstration activities at each site.Under Component 2, the project promotes domestic biomass fuel technologies and builds the capacity of local communities in nursery establishment to support the afforestation drive.
