UNDP Mongolia Country Office is looking for a national legal entity who will perform following assignment. Project: “Ensuring Sustainability and Resilience (ENSURE) of Green Landscapes in Mongolia’’ projectDuration:  40 working days during period of 2 months  Assignment: Forest inventory in pilot landscapes of ENSURE project The main purpose of this consultancy service (i) compile detailed forest inventory data in the boreal and saxaul forests in all 4 pilot landscapes and (ii) update all forest stand taxation datasets; (iii) prepare forest maps of forest cover change and forestland degradation level in project pilot areas. All forest inventory work should be done following the Forest Inventory General Guidelines and other relevant datasets of forest stand measurement. This forest inventory is planned to be conducted at the end of the project, and it will provide the current state of forestland restoration and forestland degradation changes that have occurred since the baseline forest inventory conducted at the beginning of the project.
