The International Labour Organization (ILO) is seeking a qualified service provider to design, organise, and deliver a five-day training programme on cooperative development in Japan for officials of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The programme will combine structured lectures, institutional visits, and field study components to expose participants to the Japanese cooperative ecosystem, with particular emphasis on agricultural cooperatives, consumer cooperatives, and the regulatory and institutional frameworks that underpin cooperative governance and development. The training programme is implemented under the ILO–KSA Development Cooperation Programme Phase II, which provides technical assistance to MHRSD across several areas of labour market governance, including cooperative development. The activity falls under Outcome 3 (Capacities of MHRSD, primary and secondary cooperatives and education institutions are enhanced) of the programme.
