The Division for Special Activities (DSA), Department of Operational Support (DOS) at UN Headquarters in New York, seeks to procure services from qualified contractors capable of providing services in the area of learning and development. The contractor shall design, development, and deliver a comprehensive and customized training programme to improve client service for the UN Secretariat. The training programme shall encompass the following training goals: • Enable the professionalisation, standardization and improvement of client service knowledge and skills of the UN Secretariat staff members providing administrative and operational support services; • Develop a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence throughout the UN Secretariat; • Increase client satisfaction and the quality of internal administrative and operational support services across the UN Secretariat; and • Inform about best industry-practices in client service and management. The training is to be available globally for all UN Secretariat entities, including shared service providers, peacekeeping missions, and other entities that have internal administrative and operational support functions. Core training is to be provided in-person at where the Secretariat’s service providers exist, with ability to provide live online course where the situation necessitates a digital delivery. The vendor is to develop a globally standardized training programme for the UN Secretariat, with ability to tailor each session for the specific needs of each participating UN entity as required. The programme must offer varying skill level courses, such as beginner, intermediate, and advanced level courses from whichthe participating UN entity can choose from depending on their needs. Vendor must be able to deliver the training in English and French (also desirable in Spanish). The proposed Contract would be for a period of three (3) years, with two optional one-year extensions. The optional extensions are at the sole option of the UN.
