Call for Expression of Interest Call for Expression of Interest: National consultant to support the development of a Green Employment Diagnostic for a Just Transition in Nepal’s Climate Resilient Future The ILO Country Office for Nepal invites expression of interest from qualified individuals.                                                                                                                  Work Duration:                                                Total 30 workdays from June to September 2025. Deadline for Submission of Proposal: Sunday, 15 June 2025. Objective To support the international consultant to conduct a study called Green Employment Diagnostics for Just Transitions to assess the effects of climate change, transition and adaptation on the economy and labour market of Nepal. The findings and recommendations from the diagnostic will guide the development and implementation of policies and programmes addressing the nexus between environmental change, just transitions, and employment, while serving as a critical input to the Global Accelerator roadmap, the NDC/NAP and the National Employment Policy in Nepal. Interested candidates are requested to submit the following documents electronically: A description of how the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience are relevant to the required qualifications of this assignment. A list of previous studies or analyses conducted that are relevant to the context and subject matter of this assignment. A statement confirming the availability of the candidate to conduct this assignment and the daily professional fees. (The cost of travel and DSA for fieldwork within the scope of this assignment, as deemed necessary, will be provided by the ILO as per its rules and regulations). A copy of the candidate’s CV. Two recent reports or analyses authored as a team leader or team member as per the application. A statement confirming that the candidate had no previous involvement in the implementation of the project to be reviewed or has no personal relationship with any of the ILO officials engaged in the project. The names of two referees (including email addresses) who managed the studies or analyses mentioned in point #2 above.
