Call for External Collaborator – Developing a comprehensive technical manual - GA (VNM/24/50/UND) - CO Hanoi

ProcureProcess - ILO Others Non Governmental 2025-09-16 to 2025-09-22
Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: Vietnam is set to launch its most comprehensive and technologically sophisticated 2026 Economic Census, an ambitious nationwide effort to map the country’s entire economic terrain. This Census, conducted under Decision No. 2837/QĐ-BTC issued by the Ministry of Finance, is pivotal in shaping the nation’s strategic economic planning for this new era. Building on the ILO’s effective support to the 2021 Economic Census, the National Statistics Office (NSO) has once again requested the ILO’s technical assistance for the 2026 round, with the goal of further enhancing the quality of data on employment and the labour force. Addressing this request, the ILO Country Office in Viet Nam will hire a consultant to support the NSO in some specific technical work on the Census. This support is in line with the UN Joint Fund “Operationalizing the Global Accelerator on Jobs and Social Protection for Just Transitions in Viet Nam” output 1, activity 1.1, and under the umbrella outcome 1 of the signed DWCP 2022-26 on strengthening the national capacity on formulating and implementing the evidence-based policies and strategy for decent work (outcome 1.1). Please note that if travel is required for this assignment, the necessary travel costs will be covered by the ILO. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
