REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Training and Market Linkages in the Food Services Sector Targeting Urban Mandate Refugees and Host Community Members in Kathmandu The ILO Country Office for Nepal invites Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified national institutions to deliver trainings in food services (e.g., preparation, food hygiene, waste management, etc.) followed by market linkages for urban mandate refugees and host community members in Kathmandu. Project Title: ILO-UNHCR A Systemic Approach to Refugee and Host Communities Livelihoods in Nepal Project Purpose: To enhance the skills and knowledge of at least 50 urban mandate refugees and host community members in food preparation, safety/hygiene, waste management and packaging to improve their employability and entrepreneurial capabilities, followed by establishment of sustainable market linkages that connect trained individuals with potential employers, suppliers, and customers in the food services sector. Work Duration: October - November 2024 Deadline for Submission of Proposal: Sunday, 27 October 2024 (17:30 hrs) The ILO Country Office for Nepal invites Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified national institutions to undertake a training and market linkages assignment in the food services sector targeting urban mandate refugees and host community members in Kathmandu. Interested applications must be able to accomplish the tasks as described in the Terms of Reference (ToR). National institutions are invited to submit their technical and financial proposals electronically to
[email protected] by 17:30hrs on Sunday, 27th October 2024. Subject heading should mention “(ILO/KTM-RfP-2024-014) Training and Market Linkages in the Food Services Sector.” Please include a copy of ownership certificate, company profile, VAT/PAN registration certificate and updated tax clearance certificate of your company. Note that submissions require a technical proposal (containing organizational profile, team member details, previous experience, and such) and a financial proposal (with each possible expense heading detailed). Technical proposal should propose detailed list of activities with timeline to achieve the objectives of the consultancy. Technical and financial proposals should be sent in separate emails. Interested institutions are requested to comply with all instructions, forms, contract provision and specifications contained in the RFP template to avoid rejection of the proposal. The ILO may reject a proposal that does not provide all information requested which is necessary for assessment of the proposal by the ILO.
