Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: Ship to Shore Rights in South-East Asia: Safe migration for decent work in the blue economy (S2SR) is a regional initiative of the European Union and the United Nations. It is implemented by the ILO in collaboration with IOM and FAO, with the overall objective to promote safe migration and decent work for a sustainable fish and seafood supply chain in South-East Asia, from primary production (capture fishing and aquaculture) to post-harvest processing. The S2SR project has commenced with a 6-month inception period that provides an opportunity to refine the overall project strategy at national and regional levels. Three strategy papers will be completed on key cross-cutting issues to guide the implementation of the programme on: (1) Diversity and social inclusion; (2) institutional capacity building; and (3) Migration and decent work in the aquaculture sector. This assignment will support the development and socialization of the diversity and social inclusion strategy, with a focus on promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment, as well as greater inclusion of ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities, LGBTQI+ persons and other marginalized groups within the migrant population.
