The United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ) in New York, Department of Operational Support (DOS) is looking for information from potential qualified providers of the veterinary and kenneling services the in New York, USA. This is for primary care veterinarian services and specialty veterinary service of UN's canines in New York. Provider’s must meet the following criteria: • Veterinarians must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree • For Veterinary Services, Providers must be located within 100 miles of from United Nations Headquarters • Provider must also accept the UN’s billing procedures and payment terms • The Provider must provide comprehensive annual physicals. • The Provider must provide suitable on-site kenneling for canines which require hospitalization. • The Provider must provide veterinary referrals when medically necessary. • The Provider must be available for consultation outside of regular business hours for emergency vet services as well as be able to provide priority visits for nonscheduled acute medical care and follow up treatment. • The Provider must provide a staff that has experience providing care for K9 Dogs. • The Provider must provide monthly invoices for each canine for the services rendered. • The Provider must provide up-to-date medical records for each dog treated at no additional charge to the Officer/Handler of the Canine Unit upon request. • The Provider much be able to provide a copy of a current license to practice issued by the State of Jurisdiction • The Provider must provide updated lists of its veterinary services providers, including vet techs and assistants and licenses and/or certifications as changes occur or upon request by the UN.
