The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for Provision of Data Analysis Service for Network Analysis to enhance circularity in the high-impact sectors. The electronics sector, while essential for modern life and economic growth, generates significant environmental and social challenges, including resource depletion, pollution, and poor labor conditions, with e-waste being the fastest-growing waste stream globally. To address these issues, UNEP’s Industry and Economy Division (IED) promotes circular economy practices, focusing on extending product lifecycles and improving resource efficiency through design, reuse, and recycling, while analyzing the sector's network to drive sustainable change. The United Nations Environment Programme is seeking Professional Services provider to support the IED by conducting comprehensive industrial data collection and analysis. This effort aims to understand the dynamics and potential for enhancing circularity in the high-impact sectors, like electronics, textile, plastics, mining, construction and so on. The main objective is to develop a detailed understanding of the relationship, trends, and key players in the high-impact sectors to support UNEP’s circularity goals. Some of the expected outcomes include: 1. A strategic stakeholder network map of the high-impact sector 2. Identification of key influencers and their roles within the sector 3. Predictive scenarios for future industry developments based on current data trends.
