Organ donation and transplantation (ODT) represent vital life-saving medical interventions for patients with end-stage organ failure. Globally, the increasing burden of non-communicable diseases such as chronic kidney and liver diseases, fueled by aging populations, lifestyle-related risk factors, and limited access to early and preventive care, has led to a growing demand for organ transplantation. For many patients affected by these conditions, organ transplantation remains the only viable and life-saving intervention. Despite the life-saving potential of transplantation, many low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), including the Philippines, face significant challenges in developing sustainable and ethical ODT systems. The purpose of this Agreement for Performance of Work is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder suitable to facilitate the development of the national strategic plan for organ donation and transplantation.
