“The United Nations intends to establish a contract for the provision of a Critical Care Team in support of UNAMA for an initial period of one (1) year, with the option to extend for up to two (2) additional years (1+1+1), subject to satisfactory vendor performance, availability of funds, and continued operational need. The Critical Care Team will consist of highly skilled professionals with a minimum of seven years of experience in hostile or volatile environments. Designed to provide specialized, immediate, and permanent medical care with aeromedical and mass casualty incident capabilities, the team will include two specialist doctors (1 flight physician, and 1 anesthesiologist, intensivist, or emergency physician), two specialist nurses (1 flight nurse and 1 anesthesia or intensive care nurse), and one flight paramedic. Its primary objective is to deliver primary, emergency, and critical care services for up to two patients at all times. The Mission will provide the necessary medical equipment, while the contractor will be responsible for supplying quality-assured pharmaceuticals and medical consumables required for service delivery.” Accordingly, the UN is requesting Expression of Interest (EOI) from Potential vendor who are interested in participating in the upcomming solicitaion process.
