Challenges such as low retention, inadequate workplace soft skills, and limited engagement in self-driven learning revealed gaps in both the preparedness of Fellows and the support mechanisms available during their learning journey.To address these gaps, NJFP 2.0 introduces a more integrated, data-driven approach anchored in psychometric analysis to drive and inform the soft skilling component. This new layer complements mentorship and skills development interventions by systematically assessing the underlying behavioral competencies of Fellows. Through this approach, NJFP is not only expanding access to work opportunities but also ensuring quality, personalized learning, and measurable transformation in the career trajectories of young Nigerians.The psychometric test analysis is more than a diagnostic instrument; it serves as a foundation for a tailored soft-skilling strategy- (entrepreneurship skills, mentorship, and coaching), providing insight into each Fellow’s strengths, potential blind spots, and workplace personality traits.
