The UNDP and Global Fund in Burundi, in cooperation with the UNDP Information & Technology Management (ITM) Green Energy Team, has taken initial steps toward implementing a solar PV installation on their premises. This initiative aims to deploy solar hybrid PV systems at nine hospitals across various regions of Burundi, with eight locations grouped under Lot 1 and one under Lot 2.
