Kindly be informed that FAO intends to request for improvements to the initial pricing provided and delivery timeline. We would herewith like to invite you to submit your Best and Final Offer for the supply and delivery of 1260 Metric tonnes of Organic enriched fertilizers ( NPK 5:18:10+7S ) and (N 25%). • Technical Offer: The technical aspects of your offered Organic fertilizers must remain identical to those of your original offer dated 26 August 2024. Within the scope of this BAFO, no modified technical proposals are permitted, and such offer will be rejected. • Financial Offer: Using the attached Appendix II – Financial Offer , shortlisted bidders are therefore requested to provide their best commercial offer. The financial proposal may be either improved (i.e. price reduced) or can remain unchanged. Any increase of the price may result in disqualification of the bid • Delivery timeline: The preferred delivery timelines from issuance of the Purchase Order are: - 630Mt Basal fertilizer (NPK 5:18:10+7S) – within 2 weeks order confirmation or by 15 December 2024 - 630Mt Top-dressing fertilizer (N 25%) – to be delivered latest by 31 December 2024 Shortlisted bidders are therefore requested to quote their best commercial offer and propose their best delivery time in calendar days following receipt of eventual Purchase Order. Important: Shortlisted bidders are requested to offer their most practical delivery timelines, considering availability of raw materials and production timelines. • Bid validity: For acceptance ,the Best and Final Offer must be valid ,with firm and fixed prices for a period of sixty (60) days after the BAFO closing Date. Bidders may decline the opportunity to update/improve the original offer and that such decision will not disqualify the original offer if the validity of original offer is extended for 60 days of the closing of this BAFO.
