United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Syria, seeks the interest of qualified vendors and service providers to participate in an upcoming tender solicitation for the Rehabilitation of public spaces in Seafront (Old city) in Jableh city, Syria. The project is aimed to increase the use of open spaces for health, social economic and environmental purposes in Jableh city through an Integrated Post-Earthquake Early Recovery Project. The scope of works shall include but not limited to: • Civil works – Includes debris and waste removal from streets, ground leveling, installation of steel handrails, installation of a metal fence approximately 2.2 meters high, concrete works, maintenance of metal doors and windows, tiling, and painting. • Repair and maintenance of roads and sidewalks – Includes asphalting works, installation of plastic speed bumps and ramps, maintenance of existing sidewalks, construction of new sidewalks, installation of curbs for existing sidewalks, painting of curbs, and installation of traffic signs. • Electrical works – Includes installation of integrated solar-powered streetlights (approximately 75 watts), solar street lighting columns, and maintenance of existing solar lighting devices. • Fumigation services for an area of approximately 200 square meters. • Supply of park benches approx L=130, W=50, H=50 cm. • Supply and installation of canopy trees (approximately 5 years old). • Supply and installation of children's playground equipment. • Sanitary and plumbing works – Includes installation of water tanks (approximately 2,000 liters), water containers, sinks, taps, toilets, toilet hose, and PPR pipes. • Supply of accessories – Includes awareness brochures and posters and personal hygiene kits. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who, in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions, may receive the final tender solicitation documents.
