Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: i) Better Work collaborates with the Department of Social Services (DSS) on disability inclusion and the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) on employer capacity building. The consultant will support short-term implementation under the guidance of the National Project Coordinator. Tasks include:  Assist DSS in organizing community awareness sessions on apparel sector opportunities at Vocational Training Institutes (VTIs).  Help develop an M&E framework to track partner activities.  Support DSS in finalizing awareness campaigns and content.  Consult apparel sector representatives to identify VTI upgrades for factory-like environments.  Map apparel job roles and link them to EFC’s competency matrix.  Assist DSS in publishing accessible job vacancies.  Review project activities and report on contributions to outputs. ii) Support M&E and research:  Develop evaluation criteria for job placements.  Create feedback mechanisms for instructors.  Assist ongoing research on Better Work’s impact in Sri Lanka. iii) Support resource mobilization:  Participate in consultations and donor meetings on long-term plans.  Interview stakeholders and provide recommendations.  Any other support needed falling under the scope of the workstream as assigned by the supervisor.
