Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: Update the 2023-2024 publication to include the following information: 1. Introduction and Sections 2 (Understanding violence and harassment in the world of work and the scope of Convention No. 190) and 3 (Why ratification and application of Convention No.190 is important for countries in Asia and the Pacific) shall remain. The consultant can suggest amendments considered appropriate in track-changes mode. 2. Update of the Section 4 on good practices and measures taken in countries in the AP region (mainly) to apply provisions of C190. Good practices and efforts prior to and post ratification of C190 from other regions could also be included as illustrative measures. 3. Additional views of the constituents (especially from the government and employers’ organisations, since Workers are already very active on C190 promotion) on why they support C190, and stories about actions taken/campaign organised by various stakeholders to promote ratification and application of C190 in some countries with good/interesting experience, shall be incorporated in relevant sections of the Publication. The consultant will need to identify, collect and prepare case stories from countries that have ratified C190, with a preference for AP region and some useful/interesting stories outside AP region, and are in the advanced stages in terms of the process towards ratification in Asia and the Pacific. Coverage will also include how violence and harassment have been included in enterprise, sectoral policies, OSH policies among others.
