Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The consultant will adapt and develop the ILO’s “Formalize Your Business” (FYB) training materials to the Kenyan context, supporting the formalization of informal micro and small enterprises. This includes reviewing existing FYB materials and a national report on business registration and compliance, then adapting Part II of the learner’s manual to reflect Kenyan procedures. The consultant will also develop a glossary of technical terms and revise the trainer’s guide to align with the updated manual and the ILO’s Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) methodology. Following the material development, the consultant will prepare for and conduct two Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions, each involving preparation, delivery, and reporting. The assignment spans 26 working days and will be carried out under the supervision of the ILO-PROSPECTS Programme Manager in Kenya, with technical guidance from ILO specialists. Please note that if travel is required for this assignment, the necessary travel costs will be covered by the ILO. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
