The consultant will be responsible for mapping out the needs and situation of gender equality in Tea Estates to get an efficient and informed understanding of Gender-Based Violence and Harassment (GBVH), social protection and care needs of women and men, including childcare, maternity benefits/protection as well as overall picture of their working conditions including discrimination; access to employment and advancement in employment like promotion, leadership, women empowerment and skills development, equal pay for work of equal value among others. The consultant will also develop a framework /strategy that will guide the response and propose at least two concrete solutions/ initiatives to be designed and implemented in the Tea Sector.
