UNICEF Nigeria Country Office invites qualified and registered engineering consulting firms in Nigeria to submit proposals for the establishment of non-exclusive Local Long-Term Arrangement(s) (LTAs) for engineering services to support UNICEF construction and rehabilitation activities across Nigeria, including remote and hard-to-reach locations. The LTA will be used on an “as-needed” basis. UNICEF is not committed to any minimum quantity of services, and assignments will be issued only when requirements arise. The resulting LTA(s) may also be utilised by other UN Agencies, Funds and Programmes under the same terms. 1) Scope of Services (Two Lots) Lot 1 – Main Engineering Services (Mandatory): Bidders must submit a complete proposal covering all services under Lot 1: Site Assessment Design and Technical Documents Technical Support to Procurement Quality Assurance and Site Supervision Review/analysis of designs prepared by other entities (as requested) Lot 2 – Supplementary Technical Services (Optional): Bidders may submit proposals for all, some, or none of the services under Lot 2: Advanced Topographical Surveys Advanced Geotechnical Surveys Advanced Architectural Services Advanced Building/Service Design (specialised systems) Disaster Resilience Analysis Environmental and Social Management Drawing Illustrations Project Management (as applicable under the ToR) Deliverables shall be provided in electronic format (e.g., AutoCAD and PDF) and hard copies as specified in individual assignments. 2) Eligibility / Qualification Highlights Firm must be registered as an engineering firm in Nigeria and demonstrate knowledge of Nigeria’s construction context, laws, and building codes.
