Purpose: Provision of water level and rain gauges for CERD Djibouti CREWS Djibouti (2024–2028) is a WMO-led initiative to strengthen the capacity of Djibouti’s national hydrometeorological and disaster management institutions to produce, deliver, and disseminate effective multi-hazard early warning systems (MHEWS), and to enhance preparedness, early action, and response to hydrometeorological hazards. Through six components, the project addresses key institutional, technical, and socio-economic gaps to improve service delivery, risk information systems, ICT and monitoring capabilities, community preparedness, awareness, and gender-sensitive capacity building, ultimately supporting a more resilient and inclusive national early warning system. This procurement contributes to supporting CERD’s development of a hydrological status and outlook system and impact-based forecasting capabilities, strengthening the national hydrological monitoring network. It concerns the acquisition of one (1) limnimetric radar and one (1) pluviograph and related services.
