REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP): Organization to support the Climate Change and Environmental Justice Capacity-Building for Pacific YouthUNDP BRH/ Youth Empowerment for Climate Action Platform (YECAP)Homebased with travel to Nadi, FijiThe proposed activities will focus on addressing environmental injustices affecting youth in the Pacific by strengthening their capacity to realize and exercise their environmental rights. The scope emphasizes expanding civic space and enabling meaningful youth participation in environmental governance and decision-making, in support of environmental rule of law. Key activities will include targeted trainings and capacity-building initiatives to increase awareness of environmental rights, international environmental legal frameworks, and entry points for climate and environmental action. The initiative will engage youth organizations, civil society, academic institutions, Indigenous groups, and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen partnerships, build youth networks, and scale up inclusive, youth-led environmental action across the Pacific. UNDP thus calls for the Request for Proposal (RFP) to support the Climate Change and Environmental Justice Capacity-Building for Pacific Youth.
