A.Background The United Nations World Food Programme (hereinafter referred to as the “WFP”), with its Headquarters located in Via C.G. Viola, 68/70, 00148 Rome, Italy, is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience by assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries each year. About 17,000 people work for the organization, most of them in remote areas, directly serving the hungry poor.   The WFP Odessa Field Office in Ukraine is seeking procure Unarmed Private Security Services for its common premises.   General requirements The Selected Vendor must meet the following minimum criteria: Posses a valid license to provide Security Services in Ukraine. Have a minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in security sector. Fully comply with Ukrainian national legislation related to business operations, including registration, taxation, and labour laws. Employ all security personnel under official contracts in appropriate positions. Operate a centralized dispatch/duty room providing 24/7 operational control over personnel, security systems and emergency response. Ensure availability of a 24/7 rapid response security service. C.The purpose of this EOI The purpose of this request for EOI is to identify qualified suppliers demonstrated technical and financial capacity to provide Unarmed Private Security Services for the WFP Odessa Field office. Eligible suppliers will be shortlisted and invited to participate in the subsequent formal tender process. Upon closure of the submission period, WFP will evaluate all responses received and notify suppliers regarding the outcome of the evaluation process.
