The United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) requires the supply and delivery of armored and unarmored low-voltage power cables and installation cables for in-house projects and maintenance. UNISFA Intends to establish a long term agreement for an initial period of three years with two possible extensions of 1-year each for the provision of the cables. The prices are expected to be fixed throughout, at least, the initial term of the contract. The objective of this requirement is to ensure a reliable supply of the specified electrical cables to support UNISFA's operations and infrastructure in Abyei. Timely delivery and quality of the products are critical factors. Companies participating in the bidding process will be requested to provide complete manufacturer's technical documentation for each cable type offered, enabling UNISFA to conduct a thorough technical evaluation. Offers lacking complete documentation will not be considered. Bidders shall also provide third party certificates for the technical properties of each cable type, issued to the manufacturer by the specified accredited certification bodies. Quality system certificates (e.g. ISO 9000) are not acceptable substitutes. The delivery options of the cables will be to the following locations: A. Delivered at Place (DAP), UN Base, Entebbe, Uganda. B. FCA Incoterms. More details and information about the requirement will be provided in the solicitation documents.
