The International Labour Organization (ILO) seeks a qualified consultant or researcher to conduct an assessment of wage regulation enforcement and wage protection mechanisms in Thailand. The assignment will examine existing policies, systems, and practices related to wage payment, minimum wage compliance, and access to remedies for wage-related violations, with attention to provincial and sectoral variations and the situation of both Thai nationals and migrant workers. The assessment will combine analysis of available secondary data with qualitative consultations to identify key patterns, enforcement challenges, and areas of heightened risk, and will apply an ILO analytical framework to assess wage adequacy in relation to basic living costs. The assignment will produce policy-relevant analysis and practical recommendations to inform efforts to strengthen wage regulation enforcement and wage protection mechanisms in Thailand. The contract will be during period of 1 March 2026 – 30 June 2026 Necessary travel costs will be covered by the ILO.
