United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified contractors to submit sealed tenders as follows: The Dive into Heritage (further: DIH) project aims to build an online platform to preserve and share World Heritage and related intangible heritage through digital technologies. The initiative offers digitised UNESCO World Heritage sites on the worldwide web, including 3D models, interactive maps, videos and images. In its First Phase (2022-2025), the platform focuses on World Heritage sites in the Arab States region, providing freely accessible detailed 3D models and digital narratives to engage visitors in understanding the sites' Outstanding Universal Value (OUV) by leveraging digital technologies. UNESCO seeks qualified contractors to assess the overall performance of the DIH Project during the period under review, and to provide lessons learned and recommendations regarding its achievement of both expected and unexpected results, its relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, pathways towards impact and sustainability in raising public awareness about the importance of preserving UNESCO World Heritage and its associated intangible cultural heritage through digital technologies, as well as enhancing Member States' capacity to use these technologies for monitoring and preserving World Heritage sites.
